Greater Hyderabad municipal corporation conducted technology campaign for upcoming 2014 elections. Students across Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India participated in this campaign to provide their valuable technology services as per the request of higher authorities. Hardware and software which were requested by GHMC are:

1) Telephones with a sim card. GHMC requested students to get themselves registered for the campaign by filling out certain forms on paper and online. Casual jobs got itself registered for the campaign and went ahead to attend a seminar of GHMC. Necessary guidelines were followed in the premises such as signing entrance papers and allotment of seats.

2) Computers. (Webcasting and technology reach): Computers were used for online registration. Casual jobs got itself registered on GHMC website which is Greater hyderabad municipal corporation. Casual jobs got registration number which was used to further help the organization utilize its services and knowledge for GHMC. Laptop and necessary software has to be downloaded for the venue which is at 64-Karwan assembly constituency.


Students and volunteers were allotted polling stations for working under guidance. Various constituencies were mentioned and students had to give their preferred allotment. GHMC requested students to be at an allotted time of 9:00 am.

4) Know-how of security procedures.
University has provided adequate security and there were public facilities and amenities.  Further details at 64-Karwan assembly constituency will be present on the venue.
